Hello, Community!
Before jumping to a definite answer to the question of the topic, I would like to outline the benefits of both builds.
<<Bear in mind that Udyr is jungling in both scenarios, and the same glyph and seal are used in both builds thus will be ignored.>>
21/0/9
25% attack speed (15% AS marks+ 10% AS quints)
Overall, this gives you a higher damage output, which lets you kill enemies faster and jungle faster (it feels much more comfortable).
Base movement speed of 320 is maintained, and 390 with level 2 boots.
15/0/15 (+4 dmg to creeps, +3 dmg to all, +3% movement speed)
15% attack speed (marks)
4.5% movement speed (quints)
This adds up to an extra 7.5% movement speed which equals to the bonus received from one Zeal.
Our movement speed comes to 344 with out boots, and 418 with level 2 boots.
In case you wonder: with a Zeal total movement speed comes down to 443 (508 with level 5 bear stance active).
It becomes easier to chase enemies or run away from them.
From my experience, this element saved me numerous times where I managed run away with under 100 HP or kill that 30hp running away Teemo.
To sum up: (5% dmg 10% AS) VS (7.5% MS)
I currently own both rune sets, and both sets work to their full strength.
I am calling out those pesky theory crafter, to see which scenario would be more universal (if possible) for an Udyr. Any play style is accepted as a reference to certain actions.
P.S. This is not an English, grammatically written essay, and shouldn't be treated like one.

Udyr Build Vs High Dmg 3
This thread is here to discuss new builds for Udyr, discuss items and how the patch has affected him. This post will mainly focus on items for Udyr, in terms of cost efficiency.
Just to clarify: The tiger stance patch means that the higher AD you have, the more it nerfs you. So if you get no AD items (tank build) you are buffed.
In my opinion, a dps build can never be valid on Udyr. There are simply better heroes. In the same way, as a caster he would be focused (as a person who can stun a whole team is) and therefore be useless. So I will go along the lines of building him as a tank
Banshee's veil
Despite the nerfs to banshee's veil, it is still one of the best items in game. Yes, the passive is no longer 'free', however the stats, especially coming from a catalyst (extremely cost efficient) are great and simply cannot be outdone.
Force of Nature
To compare banshee's veil with Force of Nature, it is clear Banshees should be the first choice for an Udyr, because of early game with the catalyst and because Force of Nature only becomes cost effective when one has over 2700 maximum health, which is late game. The only situation where you would go for a banshees and force of nature before other items is where you're facing 4 AP casters, or a fed caster.
Sunfire Cape
With the price rises, this cape's passive only becomes cost effective when the target has 35 Magic resistance or less (roughly, not more than 40, not less than 30). This used to be 40, and 35 is pretty much the base stats a carry will have with level 18 + runes. However lategame, carries will buy magic resist, so this item becomes useless in my opinion, unless against an attack-orientated team.
Aegis of the Legion
Simply one of the most cost effective items in game. Excluding the aura. Simply the stats it gives are incredibly good for the cost, and it should be considered as a starting item in a build if facing a balanced team. However, one could discuss whether this gives Udyr the early boost he needs (such as getting a giants belt), or is it simply too low in each stat?
Boots
Boots of Swiftness and Mobility are suprisingly lacking in cost effectiveness, with ninja tabi and beserkers leading the way. Obviously one would not get beserkers, simply because it does not fit Udyr. Ninja tabi are proving to be a great option, as people are less likely to get sword of the divines, with the phantom dancer nerfs (they have no dodge stats anymore)
Frozen mallet
This has been said before to be a good item for Udyr but you are paying 690g for a slow. With bear stance does an Udyr really need it? It seems like a waste to me that could have gone on chainmail.
Innervating Locket
Do you believe this item has caused an impact on Udyr's build? I personally believe it didn't really give Udyr that much apart from being able to stay out with his mana regen, since the health regen is negligible. There are better tank items, it should have been on a better support character anyway, such as sona or soraka. It's abscence shouldn't affect Udyrs
Quicksilver Sash
Very hard to use, especially in the current metagame where there are a ridiculous amount of CCs on very short cooldowns. A waste of money as it does not have anything but MR stats. Could be better spent on banshee's/FoN. A stun to Udyr doesn't really matter anyway unless you are running (stun a tank: laugh because it doesn't matter)
Randuin's Omen
A staple item for tanks, and it is exactly the same for Udyr. The Heart of Gold pays itself off in 40 seconds, then pays off the basic build in 16 minutes. Warden's mail is another great building item because if the passive is procced, it's worth around 950gold. However what I'm considering is laying off buying randuin's itself, instead getting a Heart of Gold and Wardens and holding them for a while because you will often find that you have bought them before any big teamfights have started, so the active will be useless.
Warmog's
Terrible item. Easily countered, unless against a team full of casters (e.g. 5 casters). Is never cost effective, not even when it is fully maxed.
Thornmail
A great item, however not recommended before other armour items and especially not before HP items because the armour level is so high, it only becomes useful after a certain amount of HP.
Spirit Visage
Not being a user of this item, I can't judge it. Any feedback? (haven't calculated efficiency yet as the patch just came out)
The AD/AS Item
To finish off your build, after you have everything you need, pots and are 50 minutes into the game you will want to get an AD/AS item to contribute to your team. Previously, a popular choice was madred's bloodrazor, since it builds from the claw which is great for jungling.
With the new tiger stance, would a trinity force (selling the claw late game for sheen) due to the great proc it gives, be better?
Any thoughts?

Udyr Build Vs High Dmg File
Udyr build guides - op.gg provides builds, counters, guides, masteries, runes, skill orders, combos, pro builds and statistics by top, jungle, mid, adc, support in. Lane Udyr is overrated. Yes you can lane Udyr now that the mana costs arent that high anymore and yes you can win 1v1 vs your enemy but you don't the farming capabilities, similar sustainability or teamfight presence champs like Irelia, Jarvan or WW (which are of very similar mold) have. Hi guys I have some questions about Udyr and what items is good for him. I a'm a new Udyr player so dont flame me for the stupid questions:-) I think i wanna play him Jungle/Gank and focus on tiger stance, i like the burst i gives and it suite my playstyle (single target burst damage) but i'm a little unsure about what items is best for him. To sum up: (5% dmg 10% AS) VS (7.5% MS) I currently own both rune sets, and both sets work to their full strength. I am calling out those pesky theory crafter, to see which scenario would be more universal (if possible) for an Udyr. Any play style is accepted as a reference to certain actions. Start off by saying that this is a copy of Trick2G's Build. This is however a more modified version. I have been finding high success with this build in Diamond 3 elo and wanted to share if with my Udyr bros.
